Welcome to my website. I am so happy and excited to showcase my photography and graphic design work on this kind of platform.
I am 25 years old and I am based in the suburbs of Chicago. I am Macedonian - American. I am mainly a portrait photographer that focuses on basic & fashion concepts, families, senior graduations, professional headshots, couples, but I love to work with product photography and real estate/interior home photography. Also, I am very knowledgeable and in love with graphic design.
My portrait photography work highlights the natural features of my subjects, allowing them to be in their element, to feel proud of who they are and then allowing me to showcase their beauty to the world. “Diverse Beauty” is a concept that I hold close to my heart, it allows this image of vulnerability to be expressed through every photograph. (if you want to know more about it scroll down to ‘my accomplishments’ section!)
Hello! I am Christina!
My Background in the Art
Field!
I went into my freshman year of high school in 2014 with the idea of pursuing teaching as a career choice. That was before I decided to take an elective class of photography. I went into this class just taking it for fun. I wasn’t the best at taking photographs just yet. I did want to give up many times because I was not getting the result I wanted. But my teacher saw potential in me, she persuaded me to stay and learn to better myself in this field. I decided to do that and work on how I can be more proud of my work as I grow in this field.
I ended up being in photography class for all 4 years in high school. I went from not wanting to do it because I was not good at it right off the bat to winning gold and silver awards in art competitions during my senior year of high school. I have graduated from College of DuPage with an Associates Degree in Photography in Spring 2021. As much as I love photography I always had graphic design in the back of my head when creating. I decided to go back to College of DuPage for a Certificate in Graphic Design and received it in December 2023. With such a interesting journey, I am beyond proud of myself for just coming this far and for all that I have accomplished.
I have been in the photography world for 10 years and in the industry for about 5/6 years taking client sessions! In 2024, I decided to rent out my very own studio space in Wheaton, IL! I have been in the graphic design world for about 2 years and recently started taking client services!
I am truly grateful for being in the art field and being able to create art for myself and for others, it honestly brings me so much joy. I go through times in my life where I feel like the only thing that keeps me happy and going with things is art, it is my motivation. It allows me to express emotion without words to create a meaningful perspective of beautiful things in this world.
Thank you for taking the time to get to know me & I hope to work with you!! :)

“Diverse Beauty” Exhibition, a
project I was working on for many
years was displayed at College of
DuPage (2021-2022)
“Diverse Beauty” is about people from different backgrounds speaking about their cultures, from the beautiful aspects to the struggles of how they are perceived by others. The reason I created this beautiful yet unique exhibition was because it shows the struggles I had within myself and how I learned to grow with them to gain confidence plus have appreciation of my culture/who I am. I wanted to feature the stories of such wonderful people I have in my life to tell their perspective on diversity and how our cultures/backgrounds are very beautiful in many ways. When I work with such unique people from capturing them feeling great in their own skin to learning/understanding their backgrounds helps me feel more confident in my own skin and where I come from. The beauty in our backgrounds is something we need to be proud of no matter what.
~Lastly, mega special thank you for David Swope and Student Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Center for allowing me to have this wonderful opportunity!
